A St Catherine man accused of breaking into a shop and stealing bottles of liquor and a television set, is to be tried on June 24.

He is Kenroy Small, a 37-year-old labourer from Guy's Hill, St Catherine.

When the matter was mentioned in the Linstead Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, his bail condition was altered and he was ordered to report to the police on Saturdays instead of Wednesdays and Fridays.

Allegations are that on February 28, 2015, the complainant found that his place of business had been broken into. It was observed that a television set and liquor valued at approximately $126,000 were removed.

A report was made to the Guy's Hill police and an investigation was launched.

The police reportedly conducted a search at Small's house two days later and the television set was found.

It was subsequently identified by the complainant and Small was charged with shop breaking and larceny.
