Tom Laing on top with 'Front Door'

New York-based Reggae singer Tom Laing continues to ride a wave of success with his cover of Gregory Isaacs' timeless classic, 'Front Door'.

Laing's version of the song, produced by veteran musician/producer, Donni Marshall, is number one on the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart.

According to Laing, he and his Top Tier Production team is pleased with the success of the single on local soil.

"We are pleased with the progress of the song in Jamaica. It's a very nice feeling to have another number one single in Jamaica. Front Door also went to number-one in New York and South Florida, earlier this year, but I am especially pleased that it's number one in Jamaica now. I am very happy that my homeland is embracing my music," he said.

Donni Marshall said the success of Front Door is just the tip of the iceberg as Tom Laing and Top Tier records have a lot more hits in store.

"Anyone who has been following the progress of Tom Laing knows that he has been consistently releasing good songs, and his music is making a positive impact in various markets around the world. While we are happy with the success of his most recent release, I would like to let the public know that he has even better songs to come. If you don't believe me just wait until his EP is released," said Marshall.

Tom Laing is getting ready to drop his debut EP, Love Is Ok. The seven-song project is slated to be released by VP Records, through its digital distribution arm, VPAL Music, this summer.
