Dancehall artiste Masicka is getting a big buzz for his latest single, 'Answer Me', featuring Ishawna.

The video racked up 38,000 views on YouTube in only one week, and social media is riled up about revelations about his 'up close and intimate' affair with the controversial female artiste.

"We all know Ishawna hot and she's going to cause a whole heap a problem cause, from you see her, you're going to want her," Masicka told CVM Onstage's Winford Williams recently. The artiste then premiered the racy video showing the two in 'compromising situations' and getting close, bodies pressed together in steamy scenes. The public reaction forced the deejay to insist that there was nothing going on between the pair off set, but regardless of their relationship status, the song has become a genuine jeep rocker this summer.

"We are getting the support right now that we never used to get inna di street, inna di party, inna di dance, so I'm going for the summer big and serious, we getting airplay on Zip, Irie, Hitz, the song basically reach more than 100,000 views already. At the end of the day, we still ah put out song; still ah get heavy rotation," he said.

Another single, Check Again on the Wrangla rhythm, has more than 70,000 views in only one month, and is in heavy rotation on all major radio stations. The song, viewed as a clever diss of rival artiste Alkaline, is a major single in the dancehall underground. One of the line says, "mi nah put no hair inna mi hair like Gwen ... true a follow dem a follow, dem a wait pon another trend fi start again'.

"Crazy people see me in the streets and say dem a feel da song de, and it ah play inna the street dances and the radio, mi love how the summer look, the shows dem a come in," he said.

Other popular singles which are doing well include Such Is Lifeand Buss The Cylinder on the Purge rhythm.
