|
A 60-year-old taxi operator and a 17-year-old female were hauled before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court, a cross-case in which they allegedly inflicted wounds to each other. They are both charged with wounding with intent. The taxi operator was ordered to be fingerprinted. It is alleged the teenager said her purse was missing after a party. She asked the taxi operator if he could transport her downtown or the nearest point. It is alleged he told her he was waiting on a passenger. Dropping off the passenger, the taxi operator allegedly asked the girl if she drank, to which she responded "anything". During an alleged sexual encounter, the taxi operator suffered wounds to his chest and arm. The 17-year-old received a chop from a machete to her arm. The female offered a different version to the story. She alleged that he took her to his premises and attempted to force her to have sex with him. Both are to return to court on June 19. |
