Dear Pastor,

I have been reading your column for many years. From I was a child, I wasn't treated well. I had to share room with my mother and two brothers. I did not have any privacy. When I got older, I found a man and left my mother's place. I got pregnant after eight years. My mother never set a good example for us children and, regardless of what I offer her, she is never satisfied.

I am living under stress. One of my daughters is causing me pure stress. I can't cope anymore. I want to die. I am not making progress in life. My daughter has no respect for me. I have been begging and borrowing to survive. That is how I kept her in school and, now that she can help herself and has her boyfriends, she does not count me. She should be giving God thanks for me. She is very brawling. I heard her discussing the size of my man's private part and it made me feel sick.

I told my daughter she is going to drive me crazy and she said she does not care. My mother does not care about me either. She told me that I am not her daughter. She said that they made a switch on me in the hospital.

Pastor, I need help. I have four children. My younger children's father threatened me and doesn't want to see me come around. I want to be a practical nurse. I really need help.

Dear anonymous,

Your mother and everybody in your family need God. I think that's the greatest need. You come from a very dysfunctional family. Everybody is disrespectful to each other. Your mother has no respect for herself and you thought that the way out was to find a man. You ended up having four children. There is no love in the family. Relatives should help relatives.

Your daughter has no love for you and your younger children's father has left you. Take it from me, only God can help you, so turn to him. You have tried everything else. Try Jesus now. Read your Bible, pray and go to church. Surrender your life to God. Your life will become meaningful.
