Love, laughter and fun. Those three words aptly describe 'Sunday night at the Movies with Flow'. The first event of its kind by Flow was staged on Mother's Day in Ebony Vale, St Catherine.

Hundreds of community members, young and old converged at the Ebony Vale Community Centre for what promised to be a very entertaining evening. Flow began service in Ebony Vale some seven years ago and has been building a solid relationship with residents since. The move is in keeping with one of the company's thrusts of community partnering.

"At Flow, we're always looking for fun and innovative ways to connect with our customers. We see them as more than customers and more like our family, so when we got the opportunity to partner with the Ebony Vale Citizen's Association to host a movie night we were absolutely thrilled to do so!" explained an elated Beverley Thompson, director of consumer sales and retail services.

Patrons got a real taste of the movies. From cotton candy to popcorn and hot dogs, the residents got a front row seat to the cinema just a few steps from their homes.

Singing competitions

And then there was entertainment! From musical chairs, spin the wheel, to singing competitions where patrons won cool Flow prizes; the residents had a party before the movie, Madea's Witness Protection, shown on Flow's new video product Advanced Video Service, AVS. .

"It was wonderful. So many persons came to me so excited and grateful that Flow decided to host the movie night.

We don't have these types of events very often, so when we do it is a welcomed and refreshing change," said Avis Banton, president of the Ebony Vale Citizen's Association.

In addition to treats and prizes, persons were also given Mommy & Me T-shirts as an extra special gift. The community members who turned out were not disappointed.
