A huge capacity crowd which overflowed into the parking lot congregated at the Luxurious nightclub in South Florida last Saturday for an adrenaline-fuelled party dubbed Blitz: Celebrity & Bottles Edition.

Hosted by Jamaican comedian Trabass from Trabass TV, the event featured live performances by Downsound Records' own Ishawna, emerging superstar Dexta Daps, and upcoming artiste, Lincoln3Dot.

The show kicked off with Qban, a Downsound Records rookie, who used his stunning good looks and brilliant flow to win over the audience.By the end of his set, he had the girls at the front of the stage grabbing at his crotch and screaming his name as he made a favourable impression.

Ishawna stepped up her game and showed why she is one of the new artistes promoters are counting on to pull patrons to entertainment events. Dressed in a sexy, bearly-there white outfit, she delivered her hits such as, Restraining Order with the females in the audience singing "stop watch out me good good"en masse. She also got a great response to Crybaby, however, one of her biggest forwards was reserved for her mega-hit, Need Love.

Energetic stabs

Ishawna pulled comedian Trabass out of the crowd and then a reluctant-looking Josef Bogdanovich, Downsound Records CEO, to dance with them.

Emerging superstar Dexta Daps was simply brilliant, wowing the audience with his crisp, clear vocals on 7Eleven and Morning Love, the breakout songs in dancehall in 2015. This was his first performance in South Florida.

Special 'props' go out to the Downsound Records staff led by Roger Maxwell and Karla Jankee who co-ordinated well to make the event a success, even in the wake of the death of Downsound Records artiste and boss lady, Toya, wife of Josef Bogdanovich.

The event was organised by New Millennium Investments and Downsound Records.

"We now have established a strong presence in South Florida.Give thanks for getting through all of this unblemished. It is a shining example of what preparation, teamwork, focus and faith can do," Bogdanovich said.
