Venom Legacy completes video shoot

Rising dancehall artiste Venon Legacy completed the video shoot for his new single Born Poor (Affi Get Rich) recently.

The Boston, US-based entertainer, who is originally from Stadium Gardens and St Thomas, worked with director Wayne Benjamin on the project.

Born Poor (Affi Get Rich) was produced by Charlie Pro Records.

"The song is based on the daily motions that people face," Venom Legacy said in a media release. It is already gaining momentum on the local airwaves.

The video was shot on location in the Waterhouse area and sections of Kingston.

Venom Legacy is managed by Sofieri Entertainment. His promotions in Jamaica are being spearheaded by street guru Andrew Powell.

"Since I've been in Jamaica, I've been at all of the weekly dancehall sessions in Kingston interacting with industry people and getting a feel of what's going on. It's a good look," said Venon Legacy.

Venom Legacy recently scored a chart hit with No More (Peace Love and Unity). The song was produced by Deano Deann Records and its content tackles crime and violence which has been taking over the world.

The 26-year-old, whose real name is Leaskel Cameron, has been promoting songs like Cant' Stop What's Rising, Gal A Wine featuring Fiyah Binghi and Top Floor.

He describes his musical journey as a rough one, but filled with great experiences.

"I'm bringing music with real life experiences which most persons can relate to. Music with substance," he explained.
