Fans walk out after visitors' third goal Defending champions Montego Bay United produced a clinical second-half display to whip Waterhouse 3-1 in the Red Stripe Premier League semi-final at the Waterhouse Stadium last night. Disappointed fans walked out of the park in disgust after a Donovan Carey thunderbolt from 25 metres flew past Waterhouse goalkeeper Richard McCallum, and into the roof of the net to put the visitors 3-0 up. Waterhouse got a consolation goal from Andre Leslie four minutes into injury time. The fat lady has already started to sing as it will be very difficult to see Waterhouse coming back from a two-goal deficit in the backyard of the champions. Allan Ottey first stunned the packed stadium in the 62nd minute with a spectacular glancing header. Then 10 minutes later, Dino Williams, the man who provided the cross for the first goal, took full advantage of a mix-up in the Waterhouse defence sprinted clear and powered past a hapless McCallum. The first half was quite the opposite of the second. The players opted to play the man rather than the ball and the busiest men in the arena were the stretcher bearers and the referee who flashed his yellow card three times. Within six minutes, Montego Bay United had lost one of their key players. Keneil Kirlew was mowed down by a tough tackle from Waterhouse's Evon Taylor. The tackle drew blood and Kirlew had to seek medial attention after he was replaced by Ronald Rodney. There was little constructive play and all threatening attacks were adequately dealt with by the opposing defenders and there were few chances for either team. Waterhouse started like a house on fire after the opening whistle and Jermain 'Tuffy' Anderson's long range shot hit the cross bar and rebounded into play after five minutes with Montego Bay's goalkeeper Jacomna Barrett well beaten. Ten minutes later, at the other end, Montego Bay's danger man Dino Williams got a glorious chance to give his team the lead. He pounced on a high left side cross but his volley was hit hard into the ground and over the crossbar.
