St Mary becomes the next stop on the Guinness Street Football Challenge trail tomorrow at the Hi-Lo Complex in Port Maria.

The teams will be competing to win the doubled prize of $200,000, the title of parish champions and a chance to represent Jamaica in the regional finals, among other prizes.

The Golden Boot prize of $20,000 will be awarded to the player who scores the most goals. There will also be a chance to take home the Star Jugglaz prize of $5,000, and gifts courtesy of sponsors Gatorade and Guinness to a lucky spectator.

Previous parish

The Guinness Street Football Challenge has been contributing tremendously to the development of the communities in which it has hosted its competition, and the feedback has been overwhelming. The previous parish competitions have set the bar, and the expectations for the St Mary matches are very high.

Guinness Brand Manager, Andrew Anguin, is ready to take on St Mary, and promises that they will continue to deliver a great event.

"We are overwhelmed with the support we have received thus far, and we are confident that we will continue to deliver nothing but the best street football and amazing experience that only Guinness is known for," said Andrew Anguin.

Registration will commence at 8 am sharp and will run until 1pm, with match time scheduled for 2pm. There will be lots of exciting giveaways, prizes and surprises from sponsors. Everyone is encouraged to come out and celebrate in what promises to be a fun and Guinness-filled after party.
