![]() Scenes during Yesterday retro party at the New Mas Camp, National Stadium, recently. - Anthony Minott Photos André Williams, STAR Writer An overwhelming array of women turned out to Pop Style and Gwaan Bad as they soaked up the best of the '90's music provided at Yesterday, held at Mas Camp. The event did not disappoint as patrons danced the night away. The traffic that was present when THE STAR arrived at the venue at midnight was a hint of what was to expected at the event. Inside, the VIP area as well as the main section were packed, leaving many to remark that it was one of the best stagings they had ever seen. Songs like Wayne Wonder's Saddest Days Of My Life, Buju Banton's Its All Over, Beenie Man's World Dance, and Girls Dem Sugar had the audience dancing and singing to these '90's hits word for word. Soca and hip-hop lovers were also catered to. Huge forwards were received for songs like Collin Lucas' Dolla Wine, Beenie Man's Jump and Wine, Burning Flames' Swing The Engine, Notourious BIG's One More Chance, and It Was All A Dream and Party Up by DMX. The tempo was balanced throughout the entire night, however, by 1 a.m. - as more patrons streamed in - the vibes were heightened. One patron who spoke to THE STAR, said, "Big up Yesterday best of the '90's. The party shot! Everybody jus deh ya a pop style and gwan bad." The event ended shortly after 3 a.m.
