Strictly Roots tops Billboard Reggae Album chart

Strictly Roots, the recently released full-length album from reggae band Morgan Heritage, has debuted at number one on the Billboard Reggae Album chart in its opening week, and currently sits above Bob Marley and the Wailer's Easy Skanking in Boston 78 album.

The album also debuted at number one on iTunes as well as number 16 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

Strictly Roots is currently available digitally and in retail stores worldwide, including Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, Target and Walmart.

Strictly Roots features a wide variety of guest performers including platinum-selling pop/dancehall artiste Shaggy, American reggae and R&B vocalist J Boog, third generation ambassadors from the Morgan and Marley families Jemere Morgan and Jo Mersa Marley, Chronixx, Eric Rachmany and American Grammy-nominated pop reggae band, SOJA among others.

Morgan Heritage is currently on tour in support of Strictly Roots. The band recently announced the release of their official fan community app, powered by TopFan and is available on all Apple iOS and Android devices.

Morgan Heritage's official mobile community enables fans to listen to their music, watch music videos, read their latest news, enter contests and purchase tickets to their tours.
