Star Tell Me Pastor

I have given him no children

Dear Pastor,

I am writing to let you know that I am a regular reader of your column. My husband and I read it every day. My husband and I have been married for 10 years. We do not have children, but he has two with two different women. He has tried everything to get me pregnant, but nothing has happened as yet. I put all my time into social work and I help very unfortunate children.

My husband tells me that he will continue to love me whether or not I have children. Once I didn't believe him, but now I see that my husband has not changed and he is not fooling around with other women and getting them pregnant because I have not given him any.

If good lovemaking would cause a woman to get pregnant, I would have been pregnant many times because when it comes to lovemaking he is the best. Keep up your good work, pastor. We love you.

F.B.

Dear F.B.,

You are a wise woman. You got yourself a good man and your husband is also a wise man. Continue to love and enjoy each other. Accept your husband's children as your very own, but don't be surprised if you become pregnant in the future before you pass childbearing age.

I am glad that you are working with children. Continue to do so. They will never forget the love that you have showed to them.

Pastor
