Downtown shooting victims still in hospital |

André Williams, STAR Writer The man and woman injured during a fatal attack in the vicinity of North Parade, on Tuesday, are still being treated in hospital, THE STAR understands. both are listed in stable condition. The Kingston Central police have also released the identities of the two men who were killed. They have been identified as 29-year-old Gihan Brown, of Scarface Path, Arnett Gardens, Kingston 12 and 36-year-old Kirk Johnson. According to reports, Brown was walking along the roadway when he was approached by an unknown assailant who opened fire, killing him on the spot. The police, on foot patrol in the area, heard loud explosions and responded. Johnson was killed during an alleged confrontation with the police. The Independent Commission of Investigation (INDECOM) has launched their investigation into the fatal shooting incident. |
