Wray & Nephew hosts Pacquiao, Mayweather parties

Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum, known for its association with boxing in the Caribbean with the Contender series, is bringing the spirit of boxing with viewing parties of the match of the century, the highly anticipated Floyd Mayweather, Jr vs Manny Pacquiao.

Fans can watch the match and enjoy Wray specials at viewing parties tomorrow at selected venues including Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records, Cuddy'z and the Chinese Benevolent Society (CBA), all in Kingston; Buzzers in Portmore, and Pier 1 in Montego Bay.

"I think that many people will agree that it was the Wray and Nephew Contender Series that put the sport of boxing back into the homes and hearts of many Jamaicans.

"It was only natural that we would invite the public to come and enjoy this historic match, while looking forward to a number of Wray specials," remarked Pietro Gramegna, J Wray and Nephew's marketing manager for White Spirits.

Patrons who choose to enjoy the match at Cuddy'z in New Kingston will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for a three litre bottle of Wray & Nephew's White Overproof Rum - fondly referred to as 'Emperor Wray'.

Loyal supporters of Buzzers in Portmore have the opportunity to bid for the much coveted private lounge, known as 'The Vault', which has a 60-inch TV.

The winners will have their own personal waitress and complimentary drinks courtesy of Wray and Nephew White Overproof Rum. Those filling the remainder of the entertainment area at Buzzers will receive a complimentary Wray cocktail and eight tokens for use in the video gaming section.

"'Tracks turns to Vegas' is the theme for this Saturday's viewing at Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records, with a number of Wraytastic drink specials served by none other than the Contender's lovely ring girls. VIP tables are available for those who make reservations.

Pier One in Montego Bay welcomes all to the 'Wray White Rum Sports Den', where boxing fans can continue to enjoy this heated match in an environment where food and drinks will be in abundance.
