Mom fears my partner can't get pregnant |

Dear Pastor, I am 27 and my girlfriend is 24. We have been going as a couple for two years. She has had one miscarriage. We are planning to get married but my mother, told me to try impregnating again before because something must be wrong with her why she had the miscarriage. We don't use the condom and she is not on the pill, so I cannot say why she hasn't got pregnant again. I know she can because she had lost the child. Whenever she visits my mother, my mother questions her a lot. For that reason, she doesn't like to go there anymore. E.F Dear E.F., You are a grown man. You should not allow your mother to tell you how to operate. The young lady with whom you are living is eager to get married, rightly so. She got pregnant and had a miscarriage. She should not be blamed for what happened. Your mother has no right to be casting assertions, or to be questioning you, why she hasn't got pregnant again. Please stand with your girlfriend. Let your mother know you do not appreciate what she is saying and you are rejecting advice that you should not get married until your girlfriend gets pregnant again. Pastor
