A former minister in the Apostolic Church of Jamaica has resigned. In a notice in the press, the minister is banned from representing or transacting any business in the name of or on behalf of the Apostolic Church of Jamaica. According to a pastor of the National Council with oversight of the Apostolic Church in Jamaica, the former minister's actions are not deemed criminal and have been dealt with internally. "It is not criminal. He has resigned. He has opted to resign from the organisation. The reason for his resignation is rather internal. It is not anything scandalous," the pastor said. The pastor remained tight-lipped on the incident surrounding the minister's resignation, but reiterated that the Council preferred to deal with the matter internally. |
