'True Born Hustler' a hit for Francheno

Reggae/dancehall artiste Francheno is getting ready to shoot the music video for his single 'True Born Hustler'.

The song, which was issued to DJs as a pre-released single late last year, is generating a lot of buzz on the local club and party scene.

"Towards the end of 2014, I did a pre-release just to see how the club DJs and sound-system selectors would respond to it. The feedback has been very positive so far, so I'm going to shoot a video for it and do an official release before the end of this month," he revealed.

As the name suggests,True Born Hustler focuses on the struggles most Jamaicans face daily as they try to make a living.

"I choose to write this song because of my own personal experiences and the struggles that I see so many other people going through daily just to provide food for their families," said the artiste.

True Born Hustler was written and produced by Francheno for his, Cheno Get imprint. "Most of my new songs will be released on my label. I began producing my songs about two years ago because music production is something I love to do and it gives me more creative control over my career," said Francheno.

Francheno is also looking forward to the release of a number of other projects as the year progresses including a seven-track EP.

"I plan to release a lot of singles this year, I've already recorded over 20 new songs, so I have a lot of music to put out. I also plan to drop an EP for the fans later this year."
