![]() ![]() Sister held in connection with incident Chad Bryan, Staff Reporter A fight between a man and his sister over a cable box resulted in him being stabbed to death during the altercation. Dead is 20-year-old Nathan Dixon of 5 East, Greater Portmore, St Catherine. The incident happened in Greater Portmore around 9 p.m. on Sunday. Residents claim that Dixon wanted to watch the Manchester United vs. Manchester City football match, but his sister was already watching a movie. This led to an argument between them. "I hear him take away the cable box because he couldnt't get to watch the match. And then he gave her back and walked away," said a resident, who declined to give his name. The resident further alleged that Dixon was stabbed in the back after walking away. "They said he was always complaining that he and his sister couldn't get along. They always argued," said another. The police have confirmed that, the fight was over a cable box but would not provide any other details. According to them, Dixon and a relative were involved in a dispute when a pair of scissors was used to stab him. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The suspect was taken into custody. however, her name is being withheld, pending further investigations. |
