UK-Based Congolese artiste BM recently released the video for his popular dance-inspired single 'Ebebi'.

The record was influenced by Congolese Afrobeat, Nigerian music, Ghanaian music and dancehall.

Released in February, the music video for Ebebi already has close to 100,000 views on YouTube.com.

The Ebebi dance move has gone viral in the UK and some countries in Africa, with some dancers uploading their own versions of the dance move.

"Seeing people around the world dance to my song has made me happier than I usually am," BM told The STAR.

The video was filmed in London and directed by Sam Kirk, in collaboration with Joel GuestLondon, Kevin Clements, Kelvin AK, Hengaw Hassan, Croozer Kay, Blue Mirror and I am DJ Emila.

The dance video for Ebebi features appearances from overseas-based dancers Sheryl Isako, Ceecee, Gugu, Junior Drogba, Detroit, Michigan renowned model SupaWoman, Valentine Artiste, Mad Dog and Freezah.

According to BM's publicist Malaika, the popularity of the dance is growing.

"We are pleased with what we are seeing and as time progresses this dance move will even get more popular. For those who don't know the move, log on to YouTube and catch up because this may just be the next global dance craze," she said.

BM has recently completed his bachelor's degree in commercial music and looks to push his music for the world to hear.

In 2013, he won the Best Song award at the Congolese Achievement awards with his AfroBeat song Lelo Eko Yinda.
