Ibo Fire rocks Ocho Rios Seafood Festival |
|||||
![]() Ibo Fire Reggae artiste Ibo Fire was superbly received recently when he performed at Ocho Rios Seafood Festival at Fisherman's Beach, St Ann. The reggae artiste graced the stage sometime after 1 a.m. to a roaring crowd, performing hits such as Hungry Days, Guiltiness, Plant The Herbs, Holding On and the ladies favourite, Tears Of Joy. Ibo Fire performed a wonderful reggae set and delivered a strong performance. When asked how he felt about the performance, he replied: "I felt so good when I stepped on the stage and the crowd was roaring and raving for me. When I performed the song, Plant The Herbs, the crowd just a scream 'Encore'; it was just a wonderful feeling". Ibo Fire's Gateway EP, which was being played by the sound system throughout the event, set the tone for the night's proceedings. "From as early as 6 p.m., patrons on the beach kept requesting all the songs over and over, because they loved the songs," Ibo Fire said. The event was a family fun day and stage show with a line-up of artistes which included Ninja Man, Merciless, Iyador, Fyah Fact, Keke-I, and many more. However, Ninja Man and Merciless were no-shows and Ibo Fire seized the opportunity and took the show by storm. Ibo Fire and his team have been working to establish him as a mainstream act by supplying the demand for wholesome and conscious music. "Right now, we are building the brand Ibo Fire and the team is working hard to get this done. Special thanks to MIA Production which has been doing a great job," he said. |
