Reggae singer Prince Theo is gearing up for the release of a six-track EP, So Splendid.

The project, which was produced by Michael Coburn of Reggae Vibes Production, is due to be released on April 28 through VP Records.

So Splendid features a wonderful mix of roots reggae and lover's rock tracks such as Without The Father, Blood Shed featuring Perfect, Royal Queens, Love Is On The Way, Visions and the title track So Splendid.

The Rastafarian artiste who topped the charts last year with a reggae ballad called Missing You, said he is confident that So Splendid will do well in markets where reggae music is popular.

"I'm confident that my EP will do very well in Jamaica and other parts of the Caribbean; the US, Europe, England and Africa. All of the tracks were well produced and I'm sure reggae music lovers all over the world will like them," he said.

The release will be supported by a massive promotional campaign that will target both the local and international markets.

"My management team plans to launch a full-scale promotion campaign in support of the EP. They plan to target some of the most important markets around the world, especially places where my other projects have done well in the past, like in Europe and Africa," Prince Theo added.

Also on the cards for Prince Theo are some upcoming engagements.

"I'm looking forward to performing on several shows later this year. My manager is currently negotiating with promoters in the US and Europe, so I will be on the road a lot this year," the singer said.
