Jah Fucha makes mark with 'One Burner' |
|||||
![]() Jah Fucha Many roots reggae enthusiasts worldwide have been comparing the vocals of new singer Jah Fucha (pronounced future) to those of the legendary Garnett Silk. A lofty comparison, Jah Fucha is steadily carving out a reputation for his sweet vocals with songs like 'One Burner'. "Mi just a give thanks for the opportunity to pursue music because that is what I love, and mi love the feedback in the streets so far, the future looks bright," Jah Fucha said. His single, Embrace Me, was produced by PBR production and is being distributed by VPAL, while One Burner was produced by Yard Base Records, Digitalize Records and Phamily Production. Born Romaine Dwain Cole in Claremont, Hanover, Jah Fucha began doing music from age 10. He lived with his grandmother who was very supportive of his love for music but did not have the financial resources to facilitate his dreams. Though most artistes are inspired by others in their field that have gone before them, Jah Fucha pulls his inspiration from The Almighty (God) as well as from everyday experiences. Jah Fucha has shared the stage with established acts such as I-Octane and Charlie Black. He has performed at the 'Miss Minimum Claremont' event held in July 2014. And to show his commitment to his career, Jah Fucha has even hosted his own talent show, giving other emerging artistes an opportunity to display their craft. Jah Fucha recently connected with producer extraordinaire Demone Gustavus and is now releasing quality songs on a regular basis. "Look out for some new material that will be released this year. I have been in the studio putting in the work, and the Almighty has given me the inspiration to come up with some great songs," he said.
