Radio personality Nikki Z has let the cat out of the bag by revealing that she will be taking over the weekday morning slot on Hot 102 starting next Monday.

Nikki Z will host 'The Mawning Show' on Hot 102 FM between 6 and 10 a.m. She said the show will have the latest in entertainment news, as well as features like '90s at 9' and 'Hot 7 at 7'.

Nikki Z made the announcement that she will be returning to Jamaica last week, but was tight-lipped about where she would be working. And with five years since her departure from ZIP FM, she said the response to her return to Jamaican radio has been fantastic.

"It has been overwhelming, it has been amazing," she said, noting that she will return to Jamaica this weekend.

Since resigning from her job in Connecticut, United States, Nikki Z added that the preparation has been seamless and she is looking forward to her new role.

"It's a brand new start. What I am bringing is my energy. There is so much that we can do in the morning that is gonna change the face of radio in Jamaica," she told THE STAR.

"It has been really smooth since I made the decision. There are so many pieces that are falling into place without effort."
