Patrons who had turned out at the 'Alkaline Queng Dem' concert in Palm Beach, Florida, were left disgruntled as the artiste had to abruptly end his set after being hit in the upper part of his body by a bottle.

Prior to being bottled, the deejay got strong responses for songs such as How It Feel, Things Me Love and Move Mountains. It was while performing his popular hit, 123, that the bottle connected with his body.

Security rushed to the stage to shield him from further missiles, while the artiste dropped the mic and quickly exited.

Were planning

This was the first time the artiste was performing in Florida, having been well received in other states such as New York and Washington DC.

Many believe that the attack was planned as a young man had previously commented under the flyer that patrons were planning to bottle the artiste.

This isn't the first time that drama has surrounded Alkaline's performance. Last year, a man was shot in a club in Connecticut where Alkaline was the headliner. His team later denied allegations that he had any involvement in the shooting.

When contacted, Alkaline's publicist/manager declined to give a comment on the matter and proceeded to end the call abruptly.
