As Chronixx returns to Kingston for his Capture Land Tour, Flow Jamaica has partnered with the international reggae entertainer to broadcast the concert live today. "We are excited about Flow and Chronixx partnering for the first time,"said Naomi Francis, corporate communications manager, Flow. "Chronixx appeals to a wide cross section of people and the association will pair two powerful brands, Chronixx and Flow," she added. The partnership will see live coverage of the concert being broadcast on Flow 100 in Jamaica between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. The concert will also be airing in 5 other countries: Barbados, St Lucia, Grenada, St Vincent and Trinidad. Flow will not only be providing live coverage of the concert, but also will be powering the venue with Flow Unplugged, the company's free Wi-Fi service. Flow will also power the live sample streaming of the concert on the internet and provide free Flow Unplugged WiFi to concert goers. Additionally, the concert will be made available to Flow customers on its Video On Demand platform in Jamaica and the region. The Kingston leg of the concert will be staged at Karl Hendrickson auditorium, Jamacia College on Hope Road, St Andrew. Chronixx's management team has given Flow a ringing endorsement. "We are pleased that this initiative will enable the masses, who appreciate our music and culture, to share in this special experience," said Brendan Sharpe of Chronixx Music Group. As Flow prepares to launch its Advanced Video Service (AVS) tomorrow, new and existing customers will have the opportunity to get hands on experience with the new product at the event. Donovan White, vice-president of sales and marketing at Flow said, "we urge all patrons before and after the show to come and visit our Flow Zone, where we will be giving customers the opportunity to experience, first hand, our AVS product that will revolutionise cable television." This partnership with Chronixx marks another move that showcases Flow's commitment to local and regional reggae content for Flow TV. Over the past 18 months, Flow has aired live shows such as Flow Champions Cup, Miss Jamaica World Pageant, the Arthur Guinness Live Concert and last month's Rebel Salute.
