Well-known attorney-at-law Harold Brady arrested |

Well-known attorney-at-law Harold Brady has been arrested and charged by investigators at the police Fraud Squad. Attorney Raymond Clough, who attended the question-and-answer session held yesterday afternoon, says Brady has been charged in relation to the sale of a house for businessman Jeffery Panton. Clough said Brady has been granted bail in the amount of $3 million. He is to apear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's (RM) Court today. The police have asked Brady to produce a valuation report for the property in question. Brady is the second lawyer to be charged this week with fraud. On Wednesday, attorney Michael Lorne was charged for forgery and fraudulent conversation in relation to the sale of a property. Lorne is also to appear in the Corporate Area RM court today. |
