Things seem to be getting better - Richie Stephens

Music ambassador Richie Stephens has poured his heart and soul into a compelling new song, 'For You Mama', dedicated to that special woman in his life - 'Mama Carmen'.

"With Mother's Day just around the corner, my mother, Carmen, was definitely on my mind when I wrote the song. However, truth be told, the song is actually dedicated to all the mothers in the world, who are there for their kids, all day, every day" the singer said.

For You Mama has also been gaining traction on local radio stations and at dance parties in Kingston. The video will soon be serviced channels in Jamaica, Japan, the United States and Europe.

Stephens has enjoyed tremendous success in the music industry in recent years. In 2012, his single, Live Your Life, was named number one song in New York and Jamaica. His follow-up single, Warrior, has been trending globally. Another of his singles, Mary Jane, has become a hit among his fans in Japan.

His current single and video, Everybody Dance, has done well, racking up more than 200,000 views online.

A number of Everybody Dance-inspired videos, created by fans in Poland, Japan, the USA and Jamaica, have been popping up on YouTube.

"Last year was a phenomenal one for me in the music industry. The plan is to keep the momentum going for the rest of 2015 and, so far, things seem to be getting better each day," he said.
