Tarnado, King Hype buzzing with 'Creech & Shampoo'

Tarnado

Dancehall artiste Tarnado is getting ready to relaunch his solo career after a brief pause.

The talented deejay is currently riding a wave of success with his hit single, Creech & Shampoo, featuring King Hype.

"This song is one of the hottest songs around; it's taking over all the parties, the clubs, the dances and the streets. Everyone is dancing to Creech & Shampoo all over Kingston," said Tarnado.

Tarnado recently lost a close friend in the music industry (Mundo of Ravers Clavers) and as such, wrote A Tribute to Mundo.

"Mundo was a wonderful person. He was a really good human being who is missed by everyone who knew him. He was a genuine friend. He was like a brother to me. I had to do this song for him," he recalled.

No stranger to the music industry, Tarnado hails from Nannyville, St Andrew and has become popular because of his amazing writing skills. In the past decade, he has penned songs for some of the biggest names in dancehall.

The artiste pointed out that writing songs for top acts has afforded him the requisite experience to hone his craft even further.

Solo career

"Now that I am working with a good management team, I am totally focused on working on my solo career. I want to cement my place in the business, as a recording artiste," he said.

Tarnado is also promoting another new single, Turn Wid Yuh Liquor, featuring Desparado.
