Bacchanal 2015 will be star-studded. According to Charmaine Franklin, director of Bacchanal Jamaica, the season will continue featuring some of soca music's top artistes.

Veteran artiste Farmer Nappy who performed last week pulled thousands of patrons to Mas Camp. However, Franklin said Bacchanal's entertainment bar is not yet at its peak.

"We have a star-studded cast of entertainers coming in. Every week we will have something new and interesting. We are committed to delivering nothing but the best to our patrons. Each week, Mas Camp will be presented in a new way, so nothing is ever the same," she said.

Franklin also told The WEEKEND STAR that the carnival momentum is increasing with every event.

"The season is in full swing and the carnival is growing. We have a new location and everybody is enjoying here. We have a very nice home and we can do so much with it each year," she said.

Last week's staging of Bacchanal Friday was spearheaded by Smirnoff, Nasha Douglas, the brand manager for spirits and wines at Red Stripe, told THE WEEKEND STAR.

"Smirnoff supports the carnival season because it's a big thing. It's a national event and anything that can bring tourists in this country, we are all about it. The other beautiful thing about Mas Camp and carnival is that it is exclusively for everybody. We can all lyme and jam together," She said.

Smirnoff is also offering patrons a signature carnival mixed drink called Smirnoff Wild Fire.

Some of the acts expected to perform over the carnival period include Destra, Kes The Band, 5Star Akil, Bunji Garlin and Fayann Lyons, Lyrikal and Kernal Roberts, among others.
