Portmore man slapped with forgery charges |
|||||
Forty-seven-year-old Paul Gerrow, from Portmore, St Catherine, was slapped with forgery charges on Wednesday. Reports are that on June 8, 2005, the accused fraudulently applied for and obtained a Taxpayer Registration Number (TRN) in a relative's name. The fraud was discovered on Wednesday, when the relative applied for his TRN. The matter was referred to the Fraud Squad for investigations, where Gerrow was subsequently arrested and charged for forgery and uttering forged document. He is scheduled to appear before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday March 11, 2015. |
