200 rounds of ammunition found

The police are reporting that they seized more than 200 rounds of ammunition on Barry Street in Kingston on Monday.

The Corporate Communications Unit of the police force said members of the Counter-terrorism and Organised Crime Unit seized 241 20-gauge cartridges in an open lot.

No one was arrested in connection with the find.

According to the report, the police unit, acting on information, conducted a search of the area and the ammunition was found in a cardboard container.
