Cops seek help to identify body

The police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the body of a man, believed to be in the late forties, that was found on Wenchman Road, Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11, on Tuesday, February 24.

It is of dark complexion, medium build and is about 188 centimetres (6 feet 2 inches) tall.

Reports from the Seaview Gardens police are that, about 3:25 a.m., residents heard explosions and summoned them. On arrival of the lawmen, the area was searched and the body found clad in khaki pants, a khaki shirt and a pair of black shoes. It had several gunshot wounds. No motive has yet been established for the killing.

Anyone with information that can assist the police in identifying the body is being asked to contact the Seaview Gardens police at 901-9423, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
