Swedish reggae star Jr Natural is expected to perform at Gyalapoly tonight.

The artiste will be performing in Jamaica for the first time at the popular event which was endorsed by Vybz Kartel in its initial stages.

The event is being organised by State Promotion, the group responsible for parties such as Water Marc, among others.

Jr Natural said: "The event is a good look and patrons can look out for a good show. I will be doing some of my popular songs. It's gonna be one big party. We're gonna pull out all the stops. We also have Curtisay passing through. This is my first time in Jamaica, and I want to make a lasting impression".

The artiste has been in Jamaica for the past two weeks and has been making connections with several musicians and local producers.

"We have a small dancehall scene in Sweden and a couple of dancers. So, now that I am in Jamaica, where the pool of musicians and dancers are from, it is very exciting," he said.

The artiste will be performing songs like The People and Sweet And Everlasting. Gyalapoly will be held at State Mall in Cross Roads, St Andrew.
