Singer, songwriter, Remington Steel-Scott, aka Sort-Out, may not be as famous as his big-screen vocals namesake, but endowed with crisp-melodic vocal and an arsenal of potent lyrics, the young reggae crooner is already carving out a piece of fame for himself.

A devoted Rastafarian and a cultural artiste, Sort-Out is adamant that in his quest for stardom, he will not 'prostitute the music for a quick hype', tattoo his eyes or plaster his body with tattoos to get the proverbial big buss, but will continue imparting positive, inspiring music as he awaits his turn.

"Personally, I and I nuh inna the quick buss mentality. A them tings deh a whore out the music."

"The dung inna you throat gal dem, the immorality and the freakiness in the dancehall is destroying the music and corrupting the young people," he said.

And in an adamant declaration, he affirmed, "My music is a message from the Almighty. It must be positive and clean, music that my two sons and fans can listen to and be inspired."

The Top Yard recording artiste said on his eight-year musical journey, he has held true to his musical principles and now boasts a number of impressive recordings, including Mama You Won't Lose, World Cry, Please Don't Make Me Hungry Anymore, If I Never Need You and a collaborative effort with one of reggae's biggest stars, Sizzla.

Since the New Year, he has been busy with post-production work on his debut video, Hungry Again, and is also chalking up studio time, laying new tracks for other soon-to-berelease recordings.
