Razor B releases '#PonTarget' |

![]() File - Razor B Dancehall sensation Razor B has released his sophomore album '#PonTarget' via Fox Fuse. The album is now available worldwide from all major digital retailers as of February 17. Born in Jamaica but residing in Toronto, Canada, Razor B, whose real name is Roger Cassup, has dented Caribbean and North American ethnic charts with hits such as Whine And Stop, We Party and his recent chart-topper, Trailer Load. cutting edge Like his name suggests, Razor B is on the cutting edge of the dancehall genre, and delivers a fusion of velvety rhythm and blues vocals as a singer, then effortlessly flips to a slick deejay/rapper, spitting rapid-fire lyrics that combine to create red-hot hits. "I hope people connect to this album, as it comes from a personal space," said Cassup, who has been on the scene for some 10 years. "It is sexually charged but intriguing, just as it's provocative without slackness. It's an everyday, feel-good-about-yourself album and every song on the album has its own unique story, so people will definitely enjoy it." Razor B who wrote all 11 tracks, said the project was recorded between Jamaica and Canada over the course of six months. He worked alongside hit-makers such as Jazzy Kneel, DJ Kitt, DJ Tropical, Zeggae Sun, Galaxy Productions and G07, who all served as producers on the album. #PonTarget showcases a potpourri of styles ranging from romantic girl tunes to hardcore dancehall vibes. Tracks include Cater To You, Ride It Like A Champion, Mawning To Night, Whine and Pedal and Sleep Over, among others. "It is so exciting to share my work with the world", said Cassup.
