Shawn Storm drops new rhythm Saturday

Kwashawna Records, which is owned by Shawn 'Shawn Storm' Campbell, is gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated 'Kuminar' rhythm, which features a heavyweight roster of artistes.

"The previous project, the 'Tanbad riddim', was releasedOctober last year and is still hot in the streets and on the radio. The label's next production is called the 'Kuminarriddim' andit is going to take the place by storm, no pun intended," Troy Blunt, road manager ofKwashawna Records, said.

"The record label is being run by Shawn Storm, and is monitored through his lawyer. The production is being distributed by Johnny Wonder of 21st Hapilos," he added.

The rhythm features Vybz Kartel, Shawn Storm, Stylysh, Gage, A Game, Destiny, Konshens, John D, Destiny, Voicemail, Masicka, Tussan, and Shaq1. The riddim will be officially released on Saturday, but it is already getting a buzz on the radio.

"The Vybz Kartel single was premiered on Suncity Radio 104.9last week by JJ Wizzle, and it loud in the streets. On February 21 when this drop, whether you hate it or not, straight up to Billboard overload top, on the world map," Blunt said.

Shawn Storm, aka Sivva, was convicted last year, alongside Vybz Kartel and two others, of the murder of dancer Clive 'Lizard' Williams.He will have to serve 25 years before he is eligible for parole. At the time of his conviction, he was adamant that he was wrongfully convicted.

"To the fans and fams, I am an innocent man and I am just saying I am good and in great health and spirit. So, from me to the fans and ma fams and my mother, daughter and family, I am confident that, in the long run, I will be vindicated," Campbell stated in a message to his supporters.
