Mellow Vibes goes to Funky Town

GLK Entertainment did it again, as their flagship event, Mellow Vibes retro party, had another huge turnout as patrons rocked to music from the '70s, '80s, and '90s at Mass Camp, National Stadium, recently.

Songs from the '90s such as Buju Ban's Boom Bye Bye and Bogle saw the patrons raise hands to acknowledge these big tunes. Ladies showed that their backs could bend with tracks such as Terror Fabulous' Position.

The Mellow Vibes selectors showed variety on the turntables. The selectors also had the presence of mind to add Gospel artisteDavid 'Kukudoo' McDermott'sKing David(See People Business and Leave It Alone) to the playlist, and the crowd loved the revivalist selection.

The patrons continued dancing up a storm as the theme song, Funky Town (1979), blared from the sound system.

Promo girls from Trojan condoms gave samples of their company's products, while the hot Stone Ginger Wine hostesses teased their male counterparts with seductive dancing. When theStar team left the venue minutes after 3 a.m., patrons were still on a high.
