Dancehall artiste Skully Hop recently released a new single called '18 And Over'. The catchy new single is on the Punch This Records label. It was produced by Queson Brown of QB Music Productions in Kingston.

This new tune celebrates the sexy skills of women who are 18 and older. Although the song is fresh on the streets, the lyrics have been a part of Skully Hop's arsenal that he has used for lyrical clashes and confrontations in the fiercely competitive dancehall arena.

Skully Hop's real name is David Thomas, and he hails from the community of Denham Town in Kingston. He was previously known as 'Righteous' in dancehall circles. He is widely respected for his lyrical ability and his propensity to launch deadly lyrical clashes against any artiste.

Skully Hop has performed extensively at dances throughout the Kingston area for years. Scores of fans go to see him, and his sidekick, Pampie Fresh, perform on Saturday mornings at the Coronation Market in downtown Kingston.

Skully Hop rose to prominence when a video clip of his 'Mama' performance was posted on the Internet, and it immediately attracted thousands of hits. He quickly changed his name from Righteous to Skully Hop amidst the buzz. He has since been signed to Punch This Records, and has been locked away in studio, working on new songs.

"I am the real dancehall deal. My lyrics are solid and my performance is top notch," he said confidently. "I have been waiting a long time for this buss, and with the support of my fans, there will be no turning back, no stress, no fuss", he told TheStar. Two other follow-up singles are expected to be released later this month.
