London Red & White Lifestyle Boat Ride set for Sunday

Patrons attending the first annual London Red & White Lifestyle Boat Ride this Sunday February 15, are in for a musical treat and good vibes.

According to promoter Richard 'Rich Cut' Gooden, all systems are in place to ensure patrons have a good time.

"We have a very good line-up of disc jockey and selectors who will ensure that patrons have non stop party vibes. This is the first in what will be an annual event, and we are pulling out the stops for our patrons. It will be a night of musical memories," said Gooden.

The Gary Sherlock-hosted event takes place at 3B Port Royal Street, downtown Kingston.

Billed to enhance the musical adrenalin are Fire Links along with the Fire Sound, YVA nominated selector Boom Boom, Little Richie and Shampoo.

This is not the first event for the enterprising promoter. In 2011, he staged Hot Gal Roll Out in Buff Bay, Portland.

A barber by profession, Gooden is originally from Annotto Bay, St Mary. After residing in England for a few years, he returned to the island where he decided to embark on event promotion.

"I used to attend boat rides and from that I decided to put on my own boat ride. The opportunity came up so I ran with it," said Gooden. Admission is $1,000.
