This is the 37th year of the Milo Western Relays, and Milo - the Energy Food Drink of Champions - has had the honour of being the title sponsor for 21 consecutive years.

The association between Milo and this event is not limited to the athletics meet, which will be held on Saturday, February 14, at the Montego Bay Sports Complex. The event now includes complementary activities such as the seventh staging of the Milo Sports Nutrition and Lifestyle Clinic, which was held at the launch.

This year's clinic included a motivational speech by the incomparable Mr Bertland Cameron, as well as a discussion of amendments to the World Anti-Doping Code as set out by the World Anti-Doping Agency. The amendments to the code, and the implication of these amendments on local athletes and coaches were presented by Mr Corey Brown, the executive director of the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission.

Both Nestlé as a company, and Milo as a brand, have a long history of a commitment to sports development in Jamaica. This year, Nestlé is celebrating 75 years of nourishing lives for a healthier Jamaica, and one of the ways in which we do this is with iconic, household brands such as MIilo - the Energy Food Drink of Champions.
