Officers seek help in investigation of higgler's death

Police attached to the Kingston West Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are seeking the public's assistance in investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 49-year-old Barrington Green, higgler of Sangster Crescent, Tivoli Gardens, Kingston 14, on January 4.

Reports are that about 10:15 p.m., residents stumbled on the body at Newport East, near the old sardine factory, and summoned the police. He was found with his throat slashed and multiple stab wounds to the upper body. The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.

Anyone that can assist the Kingston West (CIB) is being asked to contact the Denham Town police at 922-6441, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
