Dominican reggae fusion artiste ORieL is currently in the studios working on a project with UK-based producer Daniel Boyle.

Boyle is the producer of Lee Scratch Perry's album titled Back on the Controls, which was recently nominated in the Best Reggae Album Category in the 2015 Grammy Awards.

"Daniel is a very good producer, he's very creative, and working with him has been a tremendous experience. So far, we've recorded some really great tracks. I'm looking forward to doing a lot more work with him as time progresses," said ORieL.

Promo tour

ORieL recently wrapped up a promotional tour of Jamaica which included a masterful performance on one of the island's biggest reggae festivals, Rebel Salute.

"Performing at Rebel Salute was a great experience. I received a warm reception from the Jamaican people. I am very happy to know that they appreciate my music," said the artiste.

ORieL's most recent performance was at the Reggae Fusion Fest, which was held last Saturday at the Altar Bar in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. The event, staged in celebration of the life of the late reggae king, Bob Marley, attracted hundreds of music lovers from all over Pennsylvania.

"The Reggae Fusion Fest was awesome. it attracted a lot of patrons. I had a wonderful time performing for my fans in Pittsburgh; everyone had a great time."

Oriel is currently promoting new single titled Cruise, which is the first single to be released off his soon-to-be-released EP titled Love SoulJah.
