Typewriter tops them

TYPEWRITER, who turned in the performance of 2014 by winning the Superstakes for the second consecutive year, was yesterday named 'Horse of the Year' by a 15-member panel comprising representatives of the press and officials of Caymanas Track Limited.

As a five-year-old last season, the bay horse by Western Classic out of Docs' Paladin won four races from nine starts and stakes of $4.2 million for owners Robert and Valentine Chung and trainer Spencer Chung.
