Dancehall artiste Braintear Spookie is excited about the response his single called Hurt It Up is receiving.

"This song is getting a lot of love. The people love it. Everywhere it's played, it gets a positive response. It's also getting steady rotation on a number of radio stations. I am very grateful for all the support it's getting," the artiste said.

Over the last few weeks, Braintear Spookie has been busy promoting the single, which was produced by Stash Milli Entertainment.

So far, he has done a number of interviews on radio and TV stations.

"Since we put out the single, I've been very busy on the road promoting it. I have also done a lot of interviews. The response has been very good. I'm not easing up because I want this song to be a big hit," he said.

Braintear Spookie is now getting ready to release the video for Hurt It Up.

"I have a very nice concept for the video of the song. The people are going to love it. The plan is to drop the video in a few weeks time and, hopefully, by summer, the song will be at its peak," said the artiste.

The Hurt It Up deejay says he is also working on new songs as well as promoting others like Visa Body and Cya Tek My Life. Braintear Spookie has received over 15,000 views online for Hurt It Up.
