The St Andrew central police seized four stolen motor vehicles and a quantity of motor vehicle parts during an operation in Bedward Gardens, St Andrew on Friday.

The items seized include four motorcars; a white Honda Accord, a green Mazda, a grey Nissan Tiida and a grey Nissan Sunny B14. Several car parts such as tires, mufflers, doors, roofs, engines, bonnets, windshields, headlights, among other items, were also seized.

Information received is that at about 8:50 a.m., lawmen carried out a search of several premises in the area when the motor vehicles and auto parts were found at two locations.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure; however, the police are following strong leads to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Meanwhile, lawmen are asking anyone with information that can assist with their investigation to contact the Papine police at 977-4204, Crime Stop at 311, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
