Prince Talib says 'Africa is Calling'

Reggae singer Prince Talib is gearing up for a successful music career.

The talented singjay, formerly known as Timmy T, recently released a riveting reggae track, Africa Is Calling. Prince Talib believes the song, which is featured on his Sons of Royalty mix tape project, which was released last year, is strong enough to make a big impact on the local music scene.

"I believe in this song, it's a very good track, it has a positive message and the rhythm is very good. So far, I have received a lot of positive feedback about it from people all over the island," he said.

The Sons of Royalty mix tape also features other originaltracks from Prince Talib such as Dem Nuh Care, Seeds You Sow, Live On and Will Of Jah.

"The mix tape features a diverse mix of songs that I have done since I decided to walk a different path musically and spiritually. It's a revelation of my growth as a person and a musician," said Prince Talib.

The 32-year-old entertainer, who is also a farmer, recently shot the music video for Africa Is Calling.

"We shot the video for Africa Is Calling a week ago. it's currently being edited and should be ready for release next month. I am currently preparing to shoot the video for Dem Nuh Care. I want to release both videos for Black History Month," said the regae recording artiste.

Prince Talib has been very busy on the promotional rounds over the last few weeks. so far, he has made appearances on a number of radio and TV programmes, including Intense on TVJ, Pree Dis on the Flow 100 Channel, CVM at Sunrise on CVM TV, The Bounce on HITZ 92 FM and on Da Spot on RJR 94 FM.
