A mention date of March 17 was set in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court recently in a matter involving a woman, who allegedly swindled a complainant out of thousands of US dollars.

Charged with conspiracy to defraud is Kemesha Wright.

The Crown is alleging that the complainant received a telephone call from the accused woman claiming that she could get a vehicle on behalf of the complainant. The complainant sent money via a cambio in the sum of approximately US$9,650.

The complainant is yet to receive the vehicle or the return of her money.
