New season of laughter for Comedy Café |

![]() File - Dufton Shepherd ![]() File - Ity and Fancy Cat A delicious start to the 2015 comedic calendar is promised, as a new season of the highly entertaining LIME Comedy Café series gets cooking on Wednesday Caribbean-born Canadian comedian Marc Trinidad is the featured act on a laughter-filled line-up that will also see performances from rising comic Dufton Shepherd, singer/actor and prince of parody Rozah Roze, hilarious hosts Ity and Fancy Cat and new comic act 'Facial '. Comedy Café serves up the laughter at 2 Brompton Road in Kingston, and regular patrons to the monthly feast of laughs will notice some pleasant new changes to the venue that is now under new management and rebranded as 'C&C South Beach'. The changes include a much improved layout with the addition of VIP balcony seating, increased parking space and amplified security. The proprietors have also moved to guarantee safety of patrons by replacing the street lights and providing complimentary shuttle service from the newly resurfaced parking lot to the entrance of the venue. The gates open at 7 p.m. and the laughter gets going promptly at 8:30 p.m. with lots of prizes and surprises, courtesy of main sponsorship partner LIME and other associate sponsors. Comedy Café is a production of Ellis International - creators of a range of entertainment products, including the hugely popular Ity and Fancy Cat television show, which has been nominated for favourite entertainment show by the Youth View Awards for the second year in a row. Regular tickets are now $1,200 with limited VIP balcony tickets for $1,500.
