Long-time artiste back with a Venjahnce

Venjahnce

Green Gold recording artiste Venjahnce is looking forward to a successful career in the music business, the second time around. The talented deejay who hails from Sheffield in Westmoreland, began his career in the early '90s with the recording of a single called Gal Ginigog, under the stage name Daddy V.

This song was followed by several other recordings such as Defend Money, Looking For A War,Going The Wrong Way, Only Love I Know and Jah Love Sweet.

After failing to achieve the breakthrough he desired, Venjahnce decided to take a hiatus from the music business in 2009.

"The music biz is a very tough game. Only the fittest of the fittest can survive in it. I was recording for over a decade and I just couldn't get a break. Plus, there were a lot of things that I needed to sort out in my life," said the artiste.

The 42 year-old entertainer made his return to the music business late last year with a powerful performance at the recently held GT Taylor's Christmas Extravaganza.

"The performance I delivered at Christmas Extravaganza surprised a lot of people. Most of them saw me onstage for the first time, but I am sure they will never forget me. I delivered a very strong set in the first segment of the show," said Venjahnce.

Venjahnce is currently in the studios working on a number of projects. "My first single for 2015 will be released in March. It's a song called The Village. I'm also working on an EP that will be released this summer."
